Candidates who pass the SSC Stenographer CBT exam are entitled to participate in the skill or typing test. It’s important to note that this stage is qualifying, meaning the marks obtained in this round won’t be included in the final SSC Stenographer Merit List for 2023. Those who qualify in the skill test will proceed to the document verification stage. As per the official notification, the minimum qualifying marks for CBT are as follows: 30% for General or Unreserved (UR) category, 25% for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 20% for all other categories.
Previously, on October 12 and 13, a computer-based test (CBT) was used to administer the SSC stenographer 2023 exam. There were 200 total objective-type questions on the 200-mark recruitment exam paper. One mark was given for each right response, and 0.25 was subtracted for each wrong response.
The post is for SSC Stenographer, and it is divided into two grades: Grade C and Grade D. To be eligible, candidates should have passed the 10+2 Intermediate Exam from any recognized board in India. For the Stenographer Grade D Transcription, candidates need to complete it in 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi. In the case of Stenographer Grade C Transcription, it should be done in 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi. There are a total of 93 posts for Grade C and 1114 posts for Grade D.
