Orlando Pirates have reportedly opened contract extension talks up with 33-year-old winger Deon Hotto.
Hotto joined the club in 2020 on a three-year deal with the further option to extend by one year. His extension was triggered meaning his current contract will run out in June 2024.
According to the latest reports, the Buccaneers have offered him a new two-year contract extension in Mayfair.
Hotto has made 146 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals and assisting 20 more in his three years at the club.

Orlando Pirates to extend Hotto’s contract?
“His initial contract was for three years with a one-year option. It runs from July 2020 to June 2023 and then the one-year option is expiring in June 2024.” – a SoccerLaduma report read.
“That’s why they have opened up talks for a new deal. They have proposed a two-year deal to the player’s representatives but nothing has been agreed upon yet but I don’t think there will be a problem.
“You know after doubts of him staying at the start of the season, now both parties are happy with where they are now. That’s the main reason they want to keep him further.”
