Kyle and Jackie O executive to fight assault charges

A high profile radio executive who oversees the Kyle and Jackie O show is fighting allegations he punched a man in the face and attacked him with a weapon.

Duncan John Campbell appeared in Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday after pleading not guilty to two charges of common assault, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and destroying property.

The Australian Radio Network chief content officer allegedly invited the man to his Sydney apartment after an attempt to resolve their ongoing issues.

Instead of settling their differences, police allege the 59-year-old attacked the man with a 20cm knife sharpener.
