IAF AFCAT 2024 registration begins at afcat.cdac.in, direct link to apply

NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force has commenced the IAF AFCAT 2024 registration process today, December 1, 2024. Candidates who wish to apply for the Air Force Common Admission Test 2024 can visit the official website at afcat.cdac.in and apply for the same.
The last date to apply for AFCAT 2024is December 30, 2023, till 11 PM. Indian Air Force has invited Indian citizens (Men and Women) to be part of this elite force as Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.Online AFCAT 2024 exam will be conducted on February 16, 17 & 18, 2024 (tentatively).
“Online applications are invited for the courses commencing in January 2025 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Online applications are also invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (For flying branch),” reads the official advertisement.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 317 vacancies for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches.
It shall be noted that Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed stipend of Rs 56,100/- per month during one year of training.
Age Limit
Flying Branch: The applicant must be between the age limit of 20 to 24 years as of 01 January 2024. The upper age limit for applicants holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years.
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: The candidate must be between the age limit of 20 to 26 years as of 01 January 2024.
