Hundreds of people gathered Saturday to protest the war in Gaza and to advocate for children affected by the conflict, activists said.

Protesters gathered at L.A. City Hall before marching to the Federal Building in a demonstration organized in part by the Palestinian Youth Movement.

Several hundred protesters gathered and listened to speeches before marching to the Federal Building.

No arrests or detainments were reported as of Saturday evening, according to the LAPD.

A day earlier in Los Angeles, family members of Israeli hostages traveled to Los Angeles to share their stories and urge the release of hostages held by Hamas.
