VANDALS defaced a memorial in Stuart Hogg’s home town with vile slurs about the rugby love rat.
But the sick graffiti was cleaned up by locals in Hawick, Roxburghshire, we can reveal.

The louts targeted the Hornshole Monument, which commemorates a famous battle against English raiders in 1514.
Last night a source said: “It’s a disgrace that they did this as the memorial is an important part of Hawick’s history.
“We won’t tolerate that kind of behaviour.
“Whatever Stuart Hogg gets up to in his private life can stay private.”
Scottish Borders Council confirmed it received reports about the vandalism.
A spokesman said: “By the time our contractor arrived, it had already been cleaned.”
We told last month how retired Scotland captain Hogg, 32, flaunted his new lover, horse-racing pundit Leonna Mayors, 32, just days after wife Gillian gave birth to their fourth child, daughter Phoebe.
Gillian, 36, hinted at her single status in an online post about her “little family” which didn’t mention her “scrumbag” husband.
Hogg was said to have whisked Leonna up to stay in Hawick and introduced his lover to his parents.
Earlier this evening Hogg, who won 100 caps, posted online: “Don’t waste your time with explanations — people only hear what they want to.”
