NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission has advised candidates who wish to apply for the SSC GD Constable 2024 to submit their online applications in advance and before the deadline to avoid any chance of website disconnection or login failure due to high traffic on the servers in the closing days.
As per the schedule, the application window for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 was opened on the official website at ssc.nic.in on November 25 and will be closed on December 31, 2023.
“It is hereby reiterated that candidates of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024, should submit their online application much before the closing date i.e. 31.12.2023 and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy traffic on the servers during the closing days. Candidates are further cautioned that no extension of the last date for submission of application shall be granted under any circumstances,” reads the official notice.
The last date to make the payment of the online fee is January 1, 2024. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 26,146 vacancies. For additional details and information, candidates must visit the official website of the SSC.
