Orlando Pirates return to DStv Premiership action this afternoon when they travel to the Mpumalanga Stadium to face Golden Arrows.
Jose Riveiro’s side will be looking to continue their rise on the DStv Premiership log standings this afternoon.
The Buccaneers have won four out of their last five league games and a win today could push them into the top three!
Golden Arrows on the other hand have lost five matches in a row! Despite a superb start to the campaign, they now find themselves in seventh position on the log standings.

Bafana Bafana defender Bradley Cross has been ruled out of today’s fixture against the Buccaneers.
The reported Kaizer Chiefs transfer target received his fourth yellow card of the season during Golden Arrows’ 2-0 defeat to Chippa United.
Subsequently, he’s been suspended by the league for one match and will play no part in today’s action.

“Now it’s 13 games in the league and we haven’t conceded a goal in open play, only in set pieces and transitions so far.” Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by Sowetan.
“More than the clean sheets, that tells you more about the level of commitment when we are not in possession. Obviously not conceding helps you to be close to win…one goal is usually enough for us to get maximum points.
“Even though we are an offensive team, when we lose the ball everybody is defending. To be honest, it is not an obsession. I am happy because there are people in the backroom who work very hard to make it possible, so it makes me feel happy for them.”
