Orlando Pirates are reportedly considering signing a Sekhukhune United midfielder.
24-year-old midfielder Elias Mokwana has enjoyed a scintillating start to the 2023/24 campaign for Sekhukhune United scoring two goals while assisting four more in 14 league matches.
His form has earned him a spot in Hugo Broos’ preliminary AFCON squad and now, reports suggest a blockbuster move to the Buccaneers could be on the horizon

“Now it’s 13 games in the league and we haven’t conceded a goal in open play, only in set pieces and transitions so far.” Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by Sowetan regarding his side’s defensive stability.
“More than the clean sheets, that tells you more about the level of commitment when we are not in possession. Obviously not conceding helps you to be close to win…one goal is usually enough for us to get maximum points.
“Even though we are an offensive team, when we lose the ball everybody is defending. To be honest, it is not an obsession. I am happy because there are people in the backroom who work very hard to make it possible, so it makes me feel happy for them.”
