In other news, Amakhosi head coach Cavin Johnson has opened up on the state of his squad in light of rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

“Look I think we have enough quality in the team, I just think they have not been given enough opportunities as individuals and I think the way we assess them, or the way we analyse them as part of the Chiefs family,” Johnson told iDiskiTimes

“I think that needs to be a little better between myself and my coaching staff. Because then we can give them more, they can be more positive towards themselves.

“If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player. I think we need to get in their skin right now and there are good players.”
