Actress Khwezi Myeza discusses her role in ‘Sibongile and The Dlaminis’

Talented actress Khwezi Myeza says her social media manager role, Nomalanga in Sibongile and The Dlaminis is her breakout role.

KHWEZI MYEZA ON PLAYING NOMALANGA

The rising star Khwezi Myeza tells Sunday World that she is different from her Sibongile and The Dlaminis character, Nomalanga.

Myeza adds that her character on the Mzansi Wethu telenovela is her breakout role in the industry as she was working on Umkhokha: The Curse when she auditioned for the role of Nomalanga.

“It was absolutely terrifying to know that if the audition goes well my life would change and if it doesn’t, oh well…”

The filmmaker also revealed that one of her future career prospects is for a second season of Sibongile and The Dlaminis and she would love to do a different show.

“I would love to do a different show or some movies. I definitely want to grow and challenge myself as a creative.

‘SIBONGILE AND THE DLAMINIS’: SPOILERS

The Sibongile and The Dlaminis TVSA January 2024 teasers reveal that actress Khwezi Myeza’s character, Nomalanga is going to tell her fiancé, Kwenzo that she wants to try for a baby.

Wednesday, 17 January teaser: “Nomalanga shocks Kwenzo when she says she wants them to try for a baby.”

The teasers also suggest that Nomalanga will be left at the alter when Kwenzo realises he’s in love with Sibongile and changes his mind about marrying Nomalanga.

Monday, 29 January: “Nomalanga is devastated, and Sokhabase isn’t happy with the Dlaminis.”
