Additionally, questions marked as “Mark for Review” by candidates will not be taken into consideration during the evaluation process. This ensures a fair and standardized assessment for all participants.
To ensure a high standard of selection and attract the most qualified candidates, cut-off marks (out of 100) have been established for the Tier-I exam. The cut-off marks are as follows:
UR (Unreserved): 35
OBC (Other Backward Classes): 34
SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe): 33
EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 35
It’s important to note that all Ex-servicemen will be categorized based on their respective categories, including UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, ensuring a fair evaluation process for each group.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II based on their performance and the normalization of marks in the Tier-I exam. The shortlisting will be done at a ratio of 10 times the number of vacancies, provided that the candidate has scored above the minimum cut-off. This process ensures that candidates who meet the set criteria have the opportunity to advance to the next stage of the selection process.
