Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye says the club and Khama Billiat need to reconcile.
The 33-year-old has struggle to find a team since leaving Amakhosi at the end of the 2022/23 season.

In recent months, Billiat has been linked with Cape Town City and also a move to the Middle East.
The star is yet to make a public statement regarding his future however Khanye believes both parties could benefit if they swallowed their pride.

“Both parties need to come together. I’m talking about Kaizer Chiefs, Khama Billiat and his agent,” Khanye said on iDiski TV.
“One, I don’t think he [Billiat] was coached by the right coaches, even the environment at Kaizer Chiefs at the time wasn’t good,” Khanye added.

Since leaving Mamelodi Sundowns in 2018, Billiat has never rediscovered his form and infact declined during his five years at Chiefs.

“He arrived to a different environment at Chiefs and they were already playing ‘helicopter football’. He was always injured and by right you couldn’t rely on him because they played him off position at times as a striker.”
Khanye believes Billiat could benefit playing under Kaizer Chiefs care-taker coach Cavin Johnson.
