Application details
For MAH CET BEd-MEd applicants, it is required to be an Indian national with a postgraduate degree in science, social sciences, or humanities from a recognized institution, attaining a minimum of 55% marks. However, candidates from OBC, SC, and ST categories (Maharashtra state list only) should hold a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
As for candidates applying for the MEd program, eligibility requires graduation or postgraduation or an equivalent examination from a recognized institution in Maharashtra or outside the state. The applicant should either possess a domicile of Maharashtra and/or be born in Maharashtra.
Additionally, candidates with a parent holding domicile in the state or one of the parents being a union government employee posted in Maharashtra are eligible to apply. Candidates from areas in dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka are also eligible to apply for the exam.
