University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, is inviting ‘Expression of Interest’ (Eol) from interested Authors/Critics and Faculty Members of HEls to write original text-books in 12 Indian languages for the undergraduate (UG) level courses in the different subjects of Arts, Science, and Social Science. Interested Authors/Critics/Faculty Members of HEls can send their acceptance to the Commission and furnish their Expression of Interest (EOI) through the form available on the official website.
As per the official notice, the last date to apply is January 13, 2024(midnight). One can check the detailed notification by visiting the official website of the University Grants Commission at https://www.ugc.gov.in/.
How to Submit ‘Expression of Interest’ for Writing Original Books in Bhartiya Languages for UG Courses (Phase-1)?
- Visit the official website of the University Grants Commission at https://www.ugc.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “UGC Public Notice regarding: Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Writing Original Test-Books in 12 Indian Languages.”
- Click on the Google form link available in the pdf document. You will be redirected to a new webpage.
- Fill up the Google form by providing details such as name, present position/employment, postal address, Email Id, Mobile number, type of HEI working, Programme for which book will be written, Subject, Tentative title of proposed book, Language preference, and other details.
