The Houston Texans dominated the Cleveland Browns to move on to the AFC Divisional Round. NRG Stadium was lively from start to finish, and Head Coach DeMeco Ryans’ team put on a remarkable performance, much to the delight of the home crowd.
The outcome of the remaining Super Wild Card Round games will determine whether the Texans will play at home or on the road in the AFC Divisional Round. If the Texans play at home, ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
The Texans won the opening toss and deferred their choice to the second half. The Browns received the opening kickoff.
The Cleveland Browns began their first drive at their own 25-yard line. Joe Flacco completed a pass to Jerome Ford for a first down, but the Texans’ defense tightened up and forced the Browns to punt.
