CELTIC full-back Adam Montgomery is set to head for another loan spell, according to a report.
The youngster has already been sent out to Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Fleetwood Town to gain experience.
The 22 year-old was meant to spend the season at the League One club – now managed by former Rangers star Charlie Adam – but was recalled after former Hoops captain Scott Brown departed as manager.
That has alerted a number of clubs on both sides of the border to Montgomery’s availability.
And, according to the Daily Record, it’s Motherwell who are set to win the race for his signature.
Stuart Kettlewell is on the hunt for another left-sided defender after Huddersfield recalled Brodie Spencer following his successful loan stint at Fir Park in the first half of the campaign.
And having the player close by is said to have met the approval of manager Brendan Rodgers who will also farm out other fringe players to get them match experience.
Last week St Mirren took South Korean midfielder Hyeok-kyu Kwon on loan and others will likely also head out the Parkhead exit door before the window closes.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Kuhn will jet into Glasgow in the next 24 hours to complete his £3.5 million move to Celtic.
The German winger has been given the green light to travel after Hoops chiefs agreed a deal with Rapid Vienna.
Celts gaffer Brendan Rodgers has targeted the 23-year-old to inject pace into his attack after watching them struggle to break teams open at times this season.
Kuhn was omitted from the Rapid squad which faced Wiener SC on Saturday, instead training on his own in the gym after supposedly picking up a slight knock.
But with a deal now secured to bring him to Scotland, his club have granted the player permission to fly into Glasgow and pen a four-year contract.
Kuhn, who started his career with Ajax before joining Bayern Munich and then heading to the Austrian Bundesliga, plays wide on the right and offers a fresh option should Liel Abada depart.
