Earlier today, the NTA declared the results for UGC National Eligibility Test December 2023 session. Media reports suggest close to 7 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. The exam is highly sought after and determines the eligibility for assistant professorships, junior research fellowships, or both.
The eligibility criteria, self-declarations, and relevant documents of eligible candidates will be verified in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the UGC-NET December 2023 Information Bulletin.NTA accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or authenticity of information/documents uploaded during the application process. The NTA’s responsibilities are limited to application processing, test administration, result declaration, and results delivery to appropriate authorities. The NTA will be issuing certificates to qualified candidates shortly.
The UGC NET December 2023 cut-off marks have been announced following the normalisation process. The final marks were released based on final answer keys that were approved by subject experts.

UGC NET 2023 Final Answer key
The NTA has also released the final answer keys for the UGC NET December 2023 session. The NTA said, “In order to make the examination system transparent, the question paper, provisional answer key(s) and recorded responses of the concerned candidates were hosted on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.”
