Orlando Pirates face a trip to Mpumalanga for the start of their Nedbank Cup title defence but at this stage, their opponents are yet to be named.
The Sea Robbers kick off their bid for a 10th title with a clash against an unfamiliar foe but will feel confident having already won the MTN8 title this season.

Pirates to travel to Mpumalanga for Nedbank Cup
They are set to face either Middleburg United or Crystal Lake FC.
Pirates know very well that every team in the Nedbank Cup is more than capable of causing an upset. A decade ago, they were embarrassed by Maluti FET College 4-1.

They recorded victories against All Stars FC, Venda Football Academy, as well as Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs en route to the final, and will again be eager to steer clear of a potential upset in a competition that has produced a fair share of giant-killing feats.

The Nedbank Cup is slated to begin towards the end of February, with venues and kick-off times set to be revealed in due course.
