Algorand Foundation CEO’s X account hacked

The Algorand Foundation, a blockchain platform with fast and cheap transactions, reported that its head’s X account was hacked.

According to a Jan. 26 post, its CEO, Staci Warden’s Twitter account has been hacked. Project representatives warned users not to click on links or respond to private messages with a hacked account to avoid possible theft of assets.

In a comment to the post, the famous blockchain detective ZachXBT suggested that the Staci account hacker would make a better CEO for the Algorand Foundation.

The profile description has been updated on the Algorand Foundation CEO page. The account hacker wrote on behalf of the CEO of the Algorand Foundation that he had left the company, drained six figures from his customers, and gaslit them into thinking it was a hack.
