BALTIMORE RAVENS-Kansas City Chiefs Over 44.5
Fading the Chiefs in this year’s playoffs has gone horrifically.
They’ve looked fantastic and put up a dominating performance against the Bills, posting 7.3 yards per play, the most by a team in these playoffs.
Kansas City is averaging the most yards per game among all playoff teams with a minimum of two games played.
This total was bet down from 45.5 by sharps because both defenses are elite.
But the Chiefs’ run defense is the concern when looking at buying the dip and betting the Over.
Kansas City has the 27th-ranked run defense DVOA, and it allowed the second-most rushing yards to quarterbacks.
Look for the Ravens to win outright, but the Over is my favorite bet of the weekend with two high-powered offenses with something to prove.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS-Detroit Lions Over 51.5
Detroit has allowed an ungodly number of receiving yards of late.
Mike Evans, CeeDee Lamb, Puka Nacua and Justin Jefferson have made them look foolish for several weeks now.
San Francisco will make use of what it has, in particular Brandon Aiyuk, who has the second-best grade in the NFL against man coverage.
Betting on the NFL?
Meanwhile, the 49ers’ run defense leaves a bit to be desired as well, watching Aaron Jones rip off chunk gains.
David Montgomery and Jamhyr Gibbs are wonderful prop bets.
It’s a scoring spectacular on conference championship weekend!
Last week: 1-1. Buccaneers-Lions Over (W), Bills (L).
Season: 18-20-2.
