Very hot weather conditions in parts of SA to last until Friday

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says extremely hot and uncomfortable weather conditions are expected in parts of the Western Cape and Northern Cape.

The heatwave conditions are expected from Wednesday, 31 January until Friday, 2 February.

HOT WEATHER CONDITIONS FROM WEDNESDAY

The SA weather service has issued an advisory cautioning residents about the heatwave conditions expected mainly in the interior of Western Cape and Northern Cape.

The weather service said day- time temperatures are expected to reach the high 30s and low 40s.

“Such weather conditions can result in health effects, and it is essential to take the necessary precautions,” the weather service said.

HOW TO STAY COOL DURING A HEATWAVE

As temperatures soar, staying cool becomes crucial. Here are some easy tips to help you handle the heatwave.
