Spy comedy ‘Argylle’ is still out snooping its competition

“Argylle” is still out snooping the competition.

The spy action comedy remained in first place, raking in $1.96 million on Friday, its second in theaters, according to IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

So far, the flick, which cost $200 million to make, hasn’t been performing as expected, and this weekend is expected to earn just $6.5 million, which is a 60 percent drop from last weekend, according to Collider.

Teenage horror-comedy “Lisa Frankenstein” landed in second, with $1.74 million in sales.

The Post called the movie, which was written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody, “high school monster mush.”

“The Chosen: S4 Episodes 1-3,” which was in second last Friday, moved down to fifth, with just over $850,000 in sales.
