Kaizer Chiefs legend Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane has revealed that his ambition is to coach Bafana Bafana in the near future.

Yeye was speaking on SABC’s Sports Live about Bafana Bafana’s performance at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) and his future plans.
He recently parted ways with AmaZulu where was their DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team head coach.

But Letsholonyane revealed that he’s currently an assistant coach for the South African under-20 national team.

“My ambitions, obviously as a young coach now, is in the near future to be a Bafana Bafana coach,” said Letsholonyane.
“But the journey starts somewhere, and currently I’m the assistant coach for the U20 national team,” he added.

YEYE HOLDS MULTIPLE COACHING QUALIFICATIONS
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder may be new and young in the coaching circles, but he already holds multiple qualifications.

Letsholonyane completed his CAF C License in 2021 before acquiring his CAF B License a year later. In 2023, Yeye received his CAF A License.
