The NFL has released the audio from what Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift said to each other during an on-field embrace after the Super Bowl.
Fans are swooning over what might be the US sport’s most romantic ‘Mic’d Up’ moment to date and those who have been attempting to lip read can fret no more as the league has posted the full audio clip of the pair’s embrace.
When the lovers finally unite after the biggest day in US sport, they seal the Chief’s win over the San Francisco 49ers with a kiss.
“Thank you for coming, baby,” Kelce told Swift as they hugged. “Thank you. Thank you for the support.”
Meanwhile, Swift voiced her disbelief at the overtime win: “Oh, I cannot believe that,” she said. “I can’t believe you! How did you do that?”
Kelce then thanked the Anti-Hero singer for her support, including her decision to fly in for the game after kicking off her Eras Tour in Tokyo.
“Thank you for making it halfway across the world,” he said. “You’re the best, baby, the absolute best.”
Following another kiss, Kelce asked, “Was it electric?” and Swift replied, “It was unbelievable”.
The pair then kicked on at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas with a plethora of Hollywood and sporting celebs including Kelce’s brother, Philadelphia Eagles NFL player Jason Kelce, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Maholmes, his wife Brittney Maholmes, Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Ludacris.
The Chiefs win comes after Kelce told his girlfriend last week he would have to “have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware too” following her fourth career Grammy award for album of the year.
Swift flew halfway around the world to watch her boyfriend, who also said before the game that he wanted “this one more than I’ve ever wanted a Super Bowl before in my life”.
