Bihar Board 10th Exam 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board has commenced the Bihar Class 10 board exam 2024 today, i.e February 15, 2024. The BSEB will conduct the Bihar class 10 matric exam in two shifts across 1500+ centres in 38 districts. According to reports, over 16 lakh students will be appearing for the exam.
Today, the first day of exam will feature language subjects such as Hindu, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili among others.The morning session will begin at 9:30 AM and end at 12:45 PM, while the afternoon session will last from 2:00 to 5:15 PM. Entry for the morning session will be permitted until 9:00 AM, while entry for the afternoon session will be closed at 1:30 PM. Additionally, the board advises students to arrive at the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Here is a brief overview of examination guidelines that candidates appearing for Bihar Board class 10 exam 2024 must know of-

  • Candidates are advised to enter the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Late arrivals will not be permitted to take the examination for that session.
  • Due to Section 144 being enforced within a 200-meter radius of the examination centers, restrictions will be in place. Only authorized individuals, namely students, will be granted access to the premises.
  • Magistrates, police officers, and members of the armed forces are among the officials stationed at each exam centre to maintain peace and order.
  • All candidates will undergo two levels of inspection. The first level will be conducted by the magistrate and police personnel stationed at the center. Subsequently, invigilators will conduct a frisking inside the examination hall, ensuring all candidates are thoroughly searched for electronic devices, or hidden study materials.
  • Videography setups will be in place, and CCTV cameras are positioned both inside and outside the centres to keep an eye out for any disruptive activity.
  • Invigilators and other staff present in the examination hall are strictly prohibited from carrying any documents or mobile phones, except those necessary for examination purposes. Additionally, the use of Bluetooth, pagers, smartwatches, magnetic watches, and electronic watches is prohibited for all individuals, including candidates.
  • In the event of a candidate misplacing or forgetting their admit card, provisional permission to sit for the examination will be granted upon identification through the scanned photograph in the attendance sheet.
  • Candidates will be allocated an additional 15 minutes in the examination hall to receive question papers and review and understand the answer sheet.
