According to the notice released on the official website, candidates who are enrolled in DNB broad-specialty courses and DrDNB super-specialty courses can now apply till February 29, 2024.The updated schedule is as follows-
The board further said that this self-assessment process assists candidates in determining their eligibility for registration as NBEMS trainees after they enrol in NBEMS-accredited institutions via centralised merit-based counselling. It is applicable to candidates who enrolled in NBEMS courses beginning with the 2023 admission session.
According to the NBE’s official website, candidates who choose DNB seats for 2-year and 3-year courses must register for DNB training in their respective courses. Post-MBBS trainees admitted through NEET PG are registered for 3-year programs, while post-diploma DNB trainees entering through DNB-PDCET are registered for the 2-year program. They are traditionally referred to as Primary DNB and Secondary DNB trainees, respectively.
