SBI Clerk Mains 2024: The State Bank of India has released the Admit card for the SBI Clerk Main exam 2024. Candidates who have qualified the prelims exam round can now download their admit cards for the upcoming exam. The SBI has announced that the Mains exam round will take place on February 25 and March 4, 2024.

SBI Clerk Mains exam pattern 2024
The SBI Clerk mains exam has four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.There are 190 questions with a total score of 200. Candidates have two hours and forty minutes to complete the exam, with sectional timings for each section.

Detailed syllabus for SBI Clerk Main exam 2024
The SBI Clerk Mains Exam is the second phase of the selection process and plays an important part in determining the final eligibility. Those who pass the preliminary stage are eligible for this round, which includes objective-type questions, conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
English
The English section of the exam covers a range of topics including Reading Comprehension, Fillers, Test for New Pattern Cloze, Phrase Rearrangement, Old Sentence Out with Cum Para Jumbles, Inference, Sentence Completion, Connectors, Paragraph Conclusion, Phrasal Verb Related Questions, Word Usage/Vocab Based Questions, and Error detection.
Quantitative Aptitude
In the Quantitative Aptitude section, candidates can expect questions on Data analysis (bar graphs, line charts, tabular data, caselets, radar/web, pie charts), Differential Equations (Quadratic Equations, Quantity 1, Quantity 2), Series of Numbers, Simplification and Approximation, Data Sufficiency, and Arithmetic problems covering various topics such as HCF, LCM, Profit-Loss, SI & CI, Problem on Ages, Word & Time, Speed Distance & Time, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation & Combination, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Problems on Boats and Stream, Problems on Trains, Mixture and Allegation, and Pipes and Cisterns.
General/Financial Awareness
This section encompasses questions on Current Events (the banking sector, honors and awards, books and authors, latest appointments, obituaries, new schemes of central and state governments, sports, etc.), Static GK (country capital, currency, financial organization headquarters, ministerial constituencies, dance genres, nuclear and thermal power plants), Financial and banking terminology, Financial and Banking Awareness, and Static Awareness.
Reasoning Ability
In Reasoning Ability, candidates will encounter questions on Direction Sense, Inequalities, Puzzles, Coding-Decoding, Ranking, Statements and Assumptions, Internet, I/O from machines, Syllogism, and Blood relationship.
Computer Awareness
This section focuses on topics such as Networking, Internet, MS Office, Input-Output Devices, Important Abbreviations, Hardware, Software, Computer Generation, and DBMS (Database Management System).
SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test 2024
The last stage for SBI Clerk Selection Process is SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidates who get selected after the main exam need to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This stage ensures that candidates can read, write, and speak the official language of the state they are applying for.
