PlayStation fans have ‘finally pulled the trigger’ as PS5 slim drops below £400 – there are offers at Argos & Amazon too

It comes as Sony recently cut its sales forecast for the PS5, saying it now expects to sell four million fewer consoles in the key 12 month period up to the end of March.

Sony senior vice president Naomi Matsuoka recently said that the PS5 “will enter the latter stage of its life cycle” as it approaches its fourth birthday, according to Bloomberg.

And there’s rumours of a PS5 Pro on the horizon too.

But for now, there’s a number of sales on the current PS5 slim edition.

If you didn’t know already, the console is 24 per cent lighter and 30 per cent smaller than the original PS5 released at Christmas 2020.

Bargain hunters have spotted an “amazing” deal which brings the device down to £390.46 via eBay.

This is for the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition 1TB.

It’s sold by ShopTo for £419.85 but the discount code TSBSAVE7 brings the final total down further.

“Been waiting until the disc version hits below £400, so finally pulled the trigger,” one shopper wrote.

“Finally caved, thanks!” another added.

Some users have complained that the discount code doesn’t work for them so be sure to check.

Missed out? More deals from Amazon and Argos

While they’re not as cheap, Amazon and Argos also have some PS5 slim deals at the moment.

At Amazon you can get the PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition 1TB for £409.

And over at Argos, it’s £419.99.
