Actress Natasha Thahane shared a cryptic post after announcing that she and former Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch are no longer together.
The former Skeem Saam actress took to her Instagram account to reveal that she and Lorch (affectionately known as Nyoso) have mutually decided to end their romance.
“Thembinkosi Lorch and I have mutually decided to part ways romantically. Despite the change in our relationship, we will remain friends and co-parents. I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life. #NewBeginnings,” the former Skeem Saam actress wrote on her Instagram.

However, following her post, the actress also shared a short clip from United States (US) singer Rihanna, wherein she broke her silence about the night her ex-boyfriend and fellow musician, Chris Brown, physically abused her.
In the 2009 ABC News interview, the Barbados-born songtress can be heard saying: “All I kept thinking all the time: When is it going to stop? When it is going to stop?”

While the Blood and Water star has not stated why she and the Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder have broken up, fans believe her cryptic post has a deeper meaning.
This was also fuelled by a screenshot of an interaction purportedly between Natasha and one of her followers on Instagam, Minenhle Dlamini, who asked “ukushayile nawe?” which means “did he also hit you?”
Although there is no response to the question, the screenshot shows that the author of the original post liked the comment.

ASSAULT CASE AND SENTENCING
In November last year, the 30-year-old footballer was handed a three-year direct imprisonment sentence (which was suspended for five years) for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Fundiswa Nokuphiwa Mathithibala in 2020.
According to Legal Wise, when someone is handed a suspended sentence it is placed on hold completely or partly for a period not longer than five years. A suspended sentence may be subject to certain conditions, for example, that a person is not allowed to commit a similar criminal offence during the suspension of his or her sentence.

Should the accused break any of the conditions the suspended sentence is subject to, the full sentence will be put in force and the accused will then have to go to jail.
In the case of the former Bucs midfielder, he avoided jail-time. However, he should not be convicted of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm for five years. Should he break this condition within the five-year period, his case will be revoked and he will be imprisoned for three years.
