African giants enter race to sign Kaizer Chiefs target

Kaizer Chiefs will have to fend off interest from some of the continents biggest teams if they wish to land one of their key targets.

According to reports, the Amakhosi have identified Richards Bay goalkeeper Salim Magoola as a potential Itumeleng Khune replacement.

Magoola has been a shining light for the club since joining them at the beginning of last season. During a difficult Bay campaign, Magoola ended up being nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Season award which was eventually won by Ronwen Williams.

In total, the 28-year-old Ugandan international has made 38 appearances for Bay, keeping an impressive 14 clean-sheets for the struggling side!
