AIIMS CRE Recruitment 2023: AIIMS CRE for 3036 Group B & C Posts: Check syllabus, exam pattern and more |

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has recently released notification for its Common Recruitment Exam (CRE), scheduled on December 18th and 20th. The Admit Card for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be out on 12th December. This recruitment drive will fill 3036 Non-faculty Group B and Group C postsincluding Administrative Officers, Junior Engineers, Technicians, Operators, Health Educators and Laundry Assistants among others.The detailed notification can be found on their official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
AIIMS CRE Pattern
This AIIMS exam for Non-faculty posts has a three-tier selection process. The written CBT will be followed by a Skill Test for CBT-qualified candidates (as per the requirement of the post applied for), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
The Computer Based Test comprises two parts: General and Domain Specific. The General section consists of 40 MCQs, 10 each from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness & Knowledge of Computers, Quantitative Aptitude and English/Hindi Language and Comprehension. The time allotted for this section is 45 minutes while the total marks will be 40. In the Domain Specific section, there will be 40 MCQs to be completed in section also allows 45 minutes. The total marks for this segment is 40. The syllabus for Domain Specific section will be in accordance with education qualification and experience (essential/desirable) as mentioned in the Advertisement as applicable. Overall, the total number of MCQs in the AIIMS CRE CBT is 80, the total marks is 80 and the time duration is 90 minutes. There will be 1 mark for each question and no negative marking for wrong answers.

AIIMS CRE General Section Syllabus
As already mentioned, the General section includes General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness & Knowledge of Computers, Quantitative Aptitude and English/Hindi Language and Comprehension. Here is a comprehensive outlook of the syllabus of this section.
General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section includes questions from both verbal and non-verbal categories, covering a myriad of topics. These include Decision making, Visual memory, Observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, Analogies, similarities, and differences, Space visualization and spatial orientation, Problem-solving analysis and judgment, Arithmetic number series, Non-verbal series, Coding and decoding, Statement conclusion, Syllogistic reasoning, Venn Diagrams.
General Awareness & Knowledge of Computers: The questions of this segment evaluate the candidate’s overall awareness of the surrounding environment and basic computer knowledge. The topics include: Internet, Memory, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Abbreviation, Microsoft Office, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Computer Fundamentals/Terminologies, Networking and Number System
Quantitative Aptitude: The topics for this section include Simplification, Profit & Loss, Mixtures & Allegations, Simple Interest & Compound Interest & Surds & Indices, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration – Cylinder, Cone, and Sphere, Data Interpretation, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Number Systems, Permutation, Combination & Probability
English/Hindi Language and Comprehension: The language section comprises topics such as Cloze Test, Reading Comprehension, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Sentence Correction, Para Jumbles, Fill in the Blanks and Para/Sentence Completion
