‘Alien bodies’ presented in Mexican Congress panned as ‘stunt’

Remains of an alleged “non-human” being were showcased during a UFO hearing at the San Lazaro legislative palace in Mexico City on September 12. The hearing faced swift international backlash, with critics calling it a “stunt,” and officials in Peru questioning the origins of the specimens. Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan presented two small “bodies” with elongated heads and three fingers on each hand, claiming they were found in Peru in 2017 and unrelated to any earthly life. The presentation drew criticism from former U.S. Navy pilot Ryan Graves, who labeled it an unsubstantiated stunt. Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga stated that no scientific institution in Peru had identified the remains as non-human and questioned their removal from the country. Maussan defended his claims and urged his critics to present evidence countering his findings. The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), which performed a carbon dating analysis on the samples, stated that their study was only intended to determine the age of the samples and did not disclose the full results. NASA officials, while releasing their own report on recommendations for studying unidentified aerial phenomena, urged transparency and the availability of samples to the scientific community.
