All Blacks release own version of Chasing the Sun 2!

In Their Own Words season gives rare and riveting insights into the All Blacks’ trials and triumphs throughout the 2023 Test season.

Similar to the Springboks’ Chasing the Sun 2 documentary, In Their Own Words 2 follows the All Blacks as they prepare for the ultimate test in France, where they progressed to the Rugby World Cup 2023 final despite being in the proverbial pool of death.

Throughout all four episodes, players and backroom staff describe the key moments of their Rugby World Cup campaign.

Episode one covers the RWC final against the Springboks, which makes for fascinating viewing because it makes South Africans look at that epic contest from a different perspective as the New Zealand camp relive all the action, drama and emotion of that game.

All Blacks skipper talks about being the first-ever player to receive a red card in the World Cup final and reveals how he is still struggling to come to terms with that setback.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks’ now retired legend Aaron Smith opens up about his father’s death a few months before the World Cup and what it meant for him to don the All Blacks jersey for the last time in his illustrious against the Springboks in the final.

BEST OF THE REST FROM ALL BLACKS’ 2023 SEASON

The other three episodes reflects on the All Blacks’ success in the truncated Rugby Championship, their frenetic World Cup opening pool showdown against hosts France, their intense quarter-final win against Ireland and their one-sided semi-final win over Argentina.

All four episodes of In Their Own Words season two are available All Blacks YouTube channel, as well as its social media platforms.
