An iconic American fast-food chain is finally expanding to Australia after the company signed a deal with a Perth-based hospitality group.
Chuck E. Cheese has partnered with Royale Hospitality Group — the company behind Milky Lane, Planet Royale and Outback Jacks — and is scouting out locations for its first Down Under venue.
The pizza joint — which is popular among children due to its arcade games, birthday parties and mouse mascot — is set to “redefine family entertainment across Australia”.
The Aussie venue will combine trampolines, video walls and dance floors with a dining experience aimed at bringing fun to families.
Chief operation officer Mario Centola said he was excited to bring the chain to Australia.
“We are thrilled to bring the magic of Chuck E. Cheese to Australia and to collaborate with the Royale Hospitality Group, a partner that shares our commitment to delivering exceptional family experiences,” Mr Centola said.
“Chuck E. Cheese is a powerful global brand that transcends language and cultural boundaries, centred around the timeless essence of family fun.”
Royale Hospitality managing director Ray Strauss said the venture would be an “exciting journey”.
“It’s a momentous step towards establishing Chuck E. Cheese as the premier destination for families seeking an unparalleled kid-centric entertainment and dining experience,” he said.
“I am thrilled, along with my dedicated team, to embark on this exciting journey, taking Chuck E. Cheese to the next level throughout all of Australia.”
