Founded in 2009 by Linda Balti and Christoph Frehsee in San Francisco, the ready-to-wear brand Amour Vert has announced the forthcoming opening of its fifth brick-and-mortar store in Santa Rosa’s Montgomery Village this summer.

After opening its first store in San Francisco in 2014, followed by Berkeley, Palo Alto and San Jose, and closing its first store in Santa Monica, the founders have chosen Montgomery Village shopping center, located an hour from San Francisco, to set up another shop. The new store will join a portfolio of brands such as Warby Parker, Lululemon and Sonoma Outfitters.
“We have an exceptionally loyal customer base here in the Bay Area, with a lot of online business coming from the North Bay,” said Amour Vert CEO Dominique Mikolajczak. “This new store will allow us to meet our customers where they are and give them the opportunity to experience Amour Vert in person. We’ve been impressed with how Montgomery Village has been developing and are pleased to be a part of it.”

The Montgomery Village store kicks off a period of expansion for Amour Vert, which plans to triple its current footprint in the next twelve months. Most of the new locations will be in California, but the company is also eyeing properties on the East Coast and in the Midwest.
The brand, which claims to be ethically made and sustainable, and promotes its non-toxic dyes and use of modal and organic cotton, makes part of its production in California, Europe and China.
