Anele Mdoda discusses ‘Masked Singer SA’ season two

Radio and TV personality Anele Mdoda, who produces Masked Singer SA took to social media to confirm season two.

“Masked Singer South Africa Season Two loading. Next week Saturday. SABC 3 at 18:30!”

Celebrity detectives, J. Something, Somizi Mhlongo, Sithelo Shozi and Skhumba Hlophe will return in the second season of Masked Singer SA.

Producer Anele Mdoda reveals to Briefly that everything is bigger, better, and more spectacular this season.

OK Mzansi reports that Masked Singer SA season two is set to premiere on Saturday, 6 April at 18:30 on SABC 3.

BACKGROUND OF ‘MASKED SINGER SA’

TVSA reports that Masked Singer SA season two will still be hosted by podcaster and comedian Mpho Popps.

The popular guessing show is based on the South Korean series also titled Masked Singer.

South African celebrities will sing well-known songs in every episode dressed in full-body costumes and masks to hide their identities.

Viewers and celebrity panel of detectives must guess who is behind the mask. Studio audiences also vote together with the celebrity detectives for their favourite performance.

The least voted performer gets eliminated, before removing their mask to reveal their identity at the end of the show.
