AP TET Result, AP DSC Hall Ticket delayed: Election Commission issues notice

The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education (AP DSE) has postponed the release of AP Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 result declaration following instructions from the Election Commission, due to the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in the state.
Consequently, the Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee has deferred the release of AP DSC Hall Tickets issued for Teacher recruitment of 6100 posts in the state.
The AP DSE in its letter had sought approval from the Election Commission for the declaration of result. The notice read “The state government has requested permission from the Central Election Commission to announce the results of the teacher eligibility test and hold teacher recruitment exams (AP DSC)..”
In its response to the letter from the AP DSC, the Election Commission directed the state to defer the release of AP TET result. The notice read, “Commission after consideration of the proposals has decided that both the proposals i.e declaration of result of APTET and conduct of APTRT exam shall be deferred till operation of the Model Code of Conduct in the State.”
