APPSC Group 2 Mains: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is expected to announced the results for the APPSC Group 2 Prelims result 2024 soon. Once declared, candidates who had taken the exam will be able to check their results and scores on the official website of the commission at psc.ap.gov.in.
The APPSC had conducted the Group 2 services recruitment exam (preliminary round) on February 25, 2024 in multiple centres across the state.Candidates who qualify will be eligible to appear for the second stage of recruitment process- APPSC Group 2 Mains exam.
APPSC Group 2 Mains exam patternThe APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam is divided into three papers, each with an equal weightage. All questions are of the objective type and are intended to correspond to the difficulty level of a bachelor’s degree curriculum.
Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer, while incorrect responses result in a 1/3 mark deduction.
Paper I of the exam covers topics such as Andhra Pradesh’s social history and cultural movements, as well as a general overview of the Indian Constitution.
Paper II focuses on the economy of India and Andhra Pradesh, as well as scientific and technological aspects. Overall, the Mains Exam consists of 300 questions worth 300 marks, which must be completed within 300 minutes.
