Among the major announcements made on the occasion was the one-time examination fee and beginning of registration facility to participate in the recruitment process for all government posts in the state. In this, the participant will have to register only once in a year. Following the announcement, the MP Employees Selection Board (MPESB) in April third week decided to implement it for next one year with immediate effect allowing students to appear in multiple examinations by paying one-time fees.
The commission- the other recruiting agency of Madhya Pradesh hasn’t decided anything yet on it. MPPSC OSD R Pancbhai told TOI, “The commission conducts examinations, which are one stage, two stage and three stages. The commission officials are discussing the modalities of implementing the announcements.” “The decision is not yet taken in this regard”, said Pancbhai. The commission also hadn’t received any orders from the General Administration Department (GAD) for implementing the announcement.
Because of non-implementing of this announcement, the candidates are required to pay around Rs 250 to Rs 500 fees for every recruitment examination they are applying for based on their category. The commission earned around Rs 28 crores through publication of those advertisements in four years till August last year, stated a TOI report published this year.
