Aussie mum Tahlia Aubusson’s new puppy tragically killed in freak accident

An Aussie lifestyle influencer and mum-of-two has revealed her family’s new puppy has been tragically killed in a freak accident.

Tahlia Aubusson recently welcomed an adorable pup named Maple after her dog of 15 years passed away.

However, the content creator was forced to say a heartbreaking goodbye just weeks later after a chair fell on the puppy’s neck.

“It was a tragic freak accident where a stool fell on her,” Aubusson wrote on Instagram.

“She ran right at that moment and it fell on her neck.

“I tried CPR, literally did mouth to mouth everything I could in front of the kids but she was gone soon after.”

The 35-year-old said her priority is now to help her kids process the “unbearable and unbelievable shock loss”.

“I’m so emotionally tired and feel so defeated. I simply can’t even think about anything other than being here for my kids and not completely falling apart.”

The young family received an outpouring of love from friends and followers.
