The best-selling bag style to this day remains its first — the $99.95 Brighton Tote.

With a perforated neoprene body, black and dark metallic hardware and signature contrast twist woven handles, it’s a bag for every woman thanks to the fact that it looks great but walks the walk too.

The Brighton houses two internal pockets, magnetic closure and a matching Prene purse on the inside for storing all those hard-to-find essentials.

It comes complete with hundreds of five-star reviews on the Prene website, where shoppers have described it as “awesome” and an “excellent bag”.

This bag has been my go-to since I purchased it. It’s perfect for carrying everything I need. It is strong and is of good quality. It’s a must-have!” wrote one shopper.

“I recently gifted two of the bags to coworkers as birthday presents. They thought they were fantastic.”

But it’s not just the Brighton where Prene excels.

Indeed, there is a whole host of styles and collaborations with It girls and stars.

In the past, Tammy has collaborated with AFL WAG and entrepreneur Bec Judd on a range that sold every minute, and most recently she paired up with Bachelor alum Holly Kingston to launch Collection I of the Holly Kingston Edit.

Holly’s first collection sold out in less than 24 hours with thousands on the waitlist.

Now, the pair have released the new Collection II, which has already enjoyed major success with The James in Nude ($99.95) selling out in just two minutes.

When it comes to what Tammy has learned after nearly 10 years in the fashion industry, she has many tips.

“It’s not easy to set up your own business, but you can do it,” she tells Best Picks.

The road to success is often filled with obstacles and challenges, but with a strong sense of self-belief, determination, and perseverance, anything is possible.”

According to the successful entrepreneur, it’s important to “embrace failure as an opportunity for growth and learning”.

And while you might not expect it, Tammy says every setback provides “valuable lessons and insights that can help you navigate future challenges with greater wisdom and understanding”.

Tammy says to be successful, you have to have a voice that you’re not afraid to use, you have to “let go of perfectionism” and you need to “prioritise profit over revenue”.

“Start small. Keep overheads low. Take risks, but never invest more than you can afford to lose,” she says.

“Focus on the one per centers. These are often overlooked (particularly by large companies) but all contribute to making a significant impact and point of difference for your brand.”
