Authentic Brands announced on Thursday new a partnership with BBC International for the design and sourcing of DC Shoes footwear and snowboard boots and wholesale distribution across the U.S. and Canada.
Steeped in the early aughts of skate culture, DC Shoes s an American company that specializes in footwear for action sports, including skateboarding and snowboarding.
The partnership looks to take the brand into its next phase of growth and expansion, according to a press release.
“We’re delighted to partner with BBC for DC Shoes, a brand that is deeply rooted in skate and streetwear culture,” said David Brooks, EVP, action and outdoor sports, lifestyle at Authentic.
“BBC shares in our vision to expand the brand’s global footprint and provide products that our brand fans will love.”
BBC International is a full-service footwear company specializing in design, sourcing and technology with global distribution. Its portfolio of brands include Polo Ralph Lauren, K-Swiss, Champion and Tommy Hilfiger, among many others.

The deal comes two months after Authentic inked a new partnership with Warson for the design, development and distribution of occupational footwear for men and women for its DC Shoes brand, as well as women’s styles for the Roxy brand in the U.S., Canada and Europe, including the UK.
