Bafana Bafana‘s 3rd/4th play-off opponents for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament have officially been confirmed.

This follows the completion of the two semi-final matches on Wednesday where all four semi-finalists were in action.
Hugo Broos’ men lost to Nigeria in a dramatic penalty shootout in the first match, and had to wait for the game between Cote D’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

WHO WILL BAFANA BAFANA FACE NEXT AT AFCON?
Now, Cote D’Ivoire defied the odds t reach the final of this AFCON finals on home soil despite their shaky start to it.

The hosts narrowly edged the DRC 1-0 in the second semi-final to set up a date with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
What this means is that Bafana Bafana and the DRC will face off in the 3rd/4th play-off on Saturday.

What’s on everyone’s lips is whether or not this generation of Bafana Bafana can emulate the class of 2000 that won bronze at the Nigeria and Ghana games.
