Ben Sherman, Rolling Stone Create T-shirt for Teen Cancer America – WWD

Ben Sherman has partnered with Rolling Stone to raise awareness and funds for an important cause: teen cancer.

In honor of the British menswear brand’s 60th anniversary this year, the brand has designed an exclusive T-shirt that will benefit Teen Cancer America, a charity founded by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend of The Who more than a decade ago.

The initiative is part of Ben Sherman’s Global Artist Foundry, a charity-based campaign where the brand partners with musicians, artists and creatives to take their art to the next level.

The charity T-shirt, made from organic cotton, comes in black or white and will retail for $59. It is available on the Ben Sherman e-commerce sites in the U.S. and U.K., as well as at select retailers. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the charity.

“Supporting charities like Teen Cancer America isn’t just about giving back; it’s about making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said Gus Wenner, chief executive officer of Rolling Stone. “It’s a testament to our shared humanity, our capacity for empathy, and the responsibility we have as leaders to contribute to a better world for the next generation.”

The Teen Cancer America charity works to arrange treatment and support for teens with cancer.

“Ben Sherman has been a brand associated with The Who and the Mod movement since the Sixties,” said Daltrey. “Rolling Stone has faithfully covered our music and performances throughout the decades. This collaboration to benefit The Who’s charity in the USA is pure magic. We are so grateful for the support this initiative will provide young people with cancer throughout America. Think lucky and be lucky.”

This is the second time Daltrey has worked with Ben Sherman. For the brand’s 50th anniversary, he designed an exclusive limited-edition button-down shirt inspired by the front cover of The Who’s groundbreaking 1970s album,”The Kids Are Alright.”
