Billie Eilish autographs Melissa McCarthy’s face during SAG Awards presentation

Melissa McCarthy left the SAG Awards with an unexpected makeover after getting up on stage with Billie Eilish during the ceremony.

The actor and singer were onstage to present the award for outstanding female actor in a comedy series—which went to The Bear star Ayo Edebiri—when McCarthy began to fangirl over Eilish.

The Bridesmaid star proceeded to remind the 22-year-old they had met “thrice” before with Eilish even meeting her “daughters and one of my dogs” before sharing a “fun fact”.

“Since you’re asking, I actually met you in utero because your mom was my first improv teacher. And guess who she was pregnant with? It was you!” McCarthy revealed.

“Wow, okay… that’s a lot,” Eilish replied.

McCarthy then continued gushing over the hit singer, going to the level of asking Eilish to sign her metallic dress.

“I’m just trying to be more present in making memories and I’m trying for more YOLO-ing and less FOMO-ing,” she said before asking Eilish, who said she didn’t want to “ruin” the look.

“Will you sign my face?” McCarthy suggested instead.

Eilish then grabbed a black Sharpie out of the actress’ hand and wrote her name on McCarthy’s forehead, along with a small heart.

She also covered McCarthy’s mouth with her hand after the star began to ask about her and her brother Finneas’ songwriting process.

“So, when you and Finneas are putting down sick tracks or hot, hot beats….” McCarthy began to say before Eilish covered her mouth.

“I think that’s better,” Eilish said.

It’s not the first time McCarthy has revealed her connection to Eilish’s mother Maggie Baird.

On Watch What Happens Live in 2022, the actress spoke about how Baird was “an awesome teacher.”
