Bloomingdale’s opens camp-inspired pop-up space

Bloomingdale’s unveiled on Thursday its latest in-store ‘Carousel’ experience dedicated to being the ultimate summer destination for all ages.

Dubbed ‘Camp Bloomingdale’s’, the pop-up space opens with a wide array of products spanning multiple categories including swimwear, accessories, beauty essentials, food, beverages, and more.

In particular, the space will introduce new brands including outdoor gear and equipment brand Coleman, as well as sunscreen by Summer Camp, bracelets by the Little Words Project, Flirkrfire’s Personal Fireplace, and Candy Lab’s Candy Sushi Set. 

In addition to these new brands, customers can shop camp-inspired ready-to-wear collections from names like Mother Denim, Free City, and Vintage Havana. Exclusive merchandise such as fanny packs, mugs, s’mores kits, flashlights, and socks will also be available. 

“Camp carries a positive connotation for many, suggestive of memories of fun and adventure. We are excited to bring this nostalgia to life through our latest Carousel activation with a fresh assortment of playful brands for all ages, bright colors, and must-have gifts that create the ultimate camp shopping destination,” said Frank Berman, executive chief marketing officer, at Bloomingdale’s.

For the launch of Camp Bloomingdale’s, shoppers are invited to join in the festivities at the flagship 59th St location on April 13th. Activities include complimentary embroidery and patches at the Camp Customization bar, a Coleman T-shirt giveaway, and a bracelet-making station by the Little Words Project. Shoppers can also customize their Crocs at the Crocs Come as You Are Customization Station, with an onsite artist and crafting station available.

Camp Bloomingdale’s is available online and in select Bloomingdale’s locations.
