BONKO KHOZA PLAYS NAPOLEON

Sowetan reports that the talented star Bonko Khoza has secured a leading role of a serial killer named Napoleon Dingiswayo on Showmax’s new thriller series, Red Ink.

Khoza admits that assuming the serial killer role of Napoleon was quite challenging as he’s a classic psychopath.

The actor also shares he had to change his diet for his prison scenes on the show and this role was kind of tough.

“My daughter was born in August, and two weeks after her birth, I had to take up this role. For the following two months, I had to act out a role that was a woman killer and rapist, which was quite a tricky experience to balance between reality and role-playing.”

Bona reports that the upcoming novel is “set in Johannesburg, has a distinctly local flavour and brings the city to life through. The novel takes readers through this journey and “all its contrasts and contradictions,” as her life takes a dramatic turn.

SHOWMAX FANS REACT TO HIS ‘RED INK’ ROLE

@BlackJugde: “@PhilMphela, why did this guy leave The Wife in the first place? Rumors has it that he was now charging a way too much money. Is this true?”

@Palesa_Legadima: “He would definitely kill the role of one of the Dingiswayo brothers.”

@MatshidisoBella: “Can’t wait to see him. Love him.”
