BOTTEGA VENETA PROMOTION: Bottega Veneta has promoted Thierry Conrad Reutenauer to the role of global communications director, effective Thursday.
Succeeding Caroline Deroche Pasquier, who joined Versace as vice president, global communications in January, he will report to Samuel Diep, who was appointed chief merchandising and marketing officer in June 2023.
Conrad Reutenauer joined Bottega Veneta in April 2020, under then-creative director Daniel Lee, as global senior PR manager. By September 2020, he was promoted to head of global PR, and in 2022, he assumed the role of head of global PR and communication under creative director Matthieu Blazy.
Prior to Bottega Veneta, Conrad Reutenauer served as the PR, events and celebrities director at Chloé in Paris from 2014 to 2020, working under the creative directions of Clare Waight Keller and Natacha Ramsay-Levi.
He started his career in PR and events at PR agency Karla Otto in Paris. He holds a degree in media, corporate communications and institutional affairs from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Bottega Veneta is helmed by chief executive officer Leo Rongone and is controlled by Kering.
