This tipsy traveler took Irish exits to new heights.
A British flyer got so drunk he tried to open an airplane door “to get off quicker” during a mid-flight brawl, authorities said Friday.
The 28-year-old man began spewing insults at other passengers on an easyJet flight from London’s Gatwick Airport to the Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernandez in southern Spain Thursday, according to the Spanish news outlet informacion.es.

The man, who was not identified in the report, allegedly boarded the plane drunk, and became more and more hammered due to “altitude,” the outlet reported.
His belligerent comments sparked a fight and when crew members tried to break it up, he allegedly hit them, too — forcing the workers to restrain him, officials told Informacion.es.
As the plane neared the airport in Spain, the tipsy troublemaker reportedly didn’t realize the plane was still in the air and tried to open a door.

The pilot was forced to call the control tower and report the incident to Civil Guard cops as the plane touched down, according to Informacion.es.
He was arrested, but his charges weren’t immediately clear Friday.
